Director Inpatient Services

Major Responsibilities:

• Coordination and administration of all operational aspects to ensure effective high quality care for patients.
• Development and implementation of strategic plans that integrate the goals of Advocate Health Care/South Suburban Hospital’s Mission, Values, and Philosophy.
• Lead strategic planning, marketing, and new service line/program development efforts for assigned service lines, both inpatient and outpatient programs, in collaboration with business development. Market and promote service in conjunction with other disciplines and departments.
• Development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards which follow quality management, DNV, IDPH, CMS, CDC, OSHA, and other external guidelines.
• Responsible for professional and personal growth and development.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and Masters Degree any field OR Bachelors Degree any field with a Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
• Minimum 5 years in healthcare leadership.
• Critical Care experience preferred.
• Nurse, Registered (RN)

• Nurse Executive Certification and/or certification in specialty preferred(or within 2 years of hire into position)
