Assistant Director of Nursing

Job Summary

As the Assistant Director of Nursing at ALIYA of Homewood, you will play a vital role in leading our team of nursing professionals in providing exceptional patient care. Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our nursing department, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and attention.

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department's activities
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for residents
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care programs and services
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure accountability and compliance

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership role or equivalent
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Illinois
• Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
