Position: Seasonal Public Area Attendant (H-2B Visa Sponsorship Eligible)

This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations:
North Shore Preserve, set on the island of Kauai, in Princeville, Hawaii.
** North Shore Preserve is seeking seasonal Public Area Attendants to join the Facilities Department. Seasonal employment dates are March 15, 2026 – December 15, 2026. H-2B visa sponsorship is available.
** The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and inviting environment within our prestigious residential community. You will ensure that the clubhouse, public areas, and amenities facilities, are well-maintained, presentable, and exceeds the expectations of members and guests. You will work closely with the Facilities and Club Operations management team to deliver exceptional service and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Provide courteous customer service to members and guests when approached in public spaces and ensure all public areas, including hallways, lobby, and common spaces, are consistently clean and presentable.
* Responsible for the collection and day-to-day laundering of pool, spa & salon and fitness linen and terry.
* Promptly respond to and complete special cleaning assignments (i.e. carpet cleaning, door scuffs or repainting areas) as requested by clubhouse management.
* Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the clubhouse and comfort stations, including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and window cleaning.
* Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and stocking supplies as needed.
* Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as required, ensuring proper disposal of waste.
* Clean and maintain furniture, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring they are in good condition and free of damage or stains.
* Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to management promptly, and follow all established safety procedures and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
* Monitor and maintain the housekeeping supply storeroom by organizing new supplies upon delivery and restocking inventory in locker rooms/bathrooms.
* Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the clubhouse and comfort stations, including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and window cleaning.
* Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and stocking supplies as needed.
* Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and locker room/bathroom inventory, ensuring their availability for daily operations.
* Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as required, ensuring proper disposal of waste.
* Ensure all public areas, including hallways, lobby, and common spaces, are consistently clean and presentable.
* Clean and maintain furniture, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring they are in good condition and free of damage or stains.
* Respond promptly to clubhouse management requests for immediate cleaning needs or special cleaning projects.
* Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel, ensuring a safe and functional environment for residents and guests.
* Follow all established safety procedures and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
* Stay updated on the latest industry practices and cleaning techniques to continuously improve performance and efficiency.
* Responsible for the day-to-day laundering of pool, spa & salon and fitness linen and terry.
** Qualifications
* ** At least 6 months of previous professional cleaning or housekeeping experience in a private club, hotel, or resort preferred.
* Excellent knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and best practices for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
