Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM) has been providing quality service since 1957. We are one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and trustworthy individual with excellent customer service skills and a detail‑oriented approach to clean and maintain a commercial location. While previous experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or a related field is preferred, it is not mandatory.

- Schedule:
The candidate is responsible for cleaning two different properties:
Monday to Friday 12pm‑2pm and 3pm‑5pm. - Compensation per hour: $18.00
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas within the facility.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Communicate effectively and understand English.
- Clean warehouse, restrooms, and office spaces.
- Operate a vacuum for indoor cleaning.
- Clean restroom and restock supplies.
- Sweep, mop, interior and exterior floors, clean glass doors and mirrors.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
- Clean and wipe down all tables and chairs.
- Collect and dispose of trash in designated areas.
- Push trash bins as needed.
- Must pass HBM prescreen check.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous janitorial, custodian experience or related experience is preferred, and the applicant is willing to train.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Must have good public relations skills and communication.
- Applicants must perform basic manual labor: clean common areas, frequently press, lift, push, pull, carry a minimum of 15 pounds (up to 50 pounds), reach overhead, grasp objects, bend, kneel, crawl, squat, climb, stretch, walk, stair and ladder climb, and stand throughout the shifts.
