Performs a variety of manual and semi-skilled work tasks in the development and maintenance of scenic and recreational areas; greets visitors and gives historical and botanical information concerning the site; and performs other related duties as assigned.

• Legal Authorization to work:
  The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
• Experience:
  
  Two (2) years of work experience in and one or a combination of the following: groundskeeping, grounds maintenance and/or related work utilizing a variety of hand tools and light motorized equipment; or unskilled or semi-skilled work requiring the use of simple tools found commonly in the building or mechanical trades.
• Driver's License:
  Possession of a valid driver's license is required at the time of appointment.
• Special Requirements:
  The position requires the ability to lift and carry items of various weights with or without reasonable accommodation.
