Position Summary

The Maintenance position is responsible for supporting the physical upkeep, cleanliness, and safe operation of the restaurant facility. This role assists with minor repairs, preventative maintenance, deep cleaning, and manual tasks to ensure the restaurant remains clean, safe, and fully operational for guests and staff. The ideal candidate is dependable, hands‑on, safety‑minded, and willing to respond to a variety of facility needs as directed by management.

Essential

Functions
  • Perform general maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, patching walls, and painting touch‑ups.
  • Assist with repairs to furniture, equipment, and basic plumbing or electrical components, as directed by management.
  • Complete deep‑cleaning tasks in high‑traffic and hard‑to‑reach areas, including behind kitchen equipment, walk‑ins, and storage spaces.
  • Sweep, mop, pressure wash, and maintain exterior and interior grounds, including sidewalks, patios, and loading areas.
  • Safely handle, operate, and maintain tools, ladders, and light power equipment.
  • Monitor facility conditions and report equipment failures, safety hazards, or repair needs promptly to management.
  • Move, lift, or carry heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) such as furniture, appliances, supplies, or deliveries, as needed.
  • Assist with unloading and organizing deliveries or equipment shipments. Constructing equipment as needed.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance requests from management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals, ladders, or mechanical equipment.
  • Work efficiently and independently while maintaining communication with the management team regarding completed tasks and ongoing needs.
  • Notify managers of need for major repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all tools and supplies are stored properly after use.
  • Perform other maintenance‑related duties as assigned to support overall restaurant operations.
  • Report for work on time and in appropriate attire, and follow all company policies regarding attendance, conduct, and safety. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect access to sensitive information, including company data, employee records, and customer details, by following all protocols and preventing unauthorized access or disclosure.
