This vacancy is with the Department of Land & Natural Resources located at the Sand Island State Recreation Area.

Performs a variety of manual and semi‑skilled work tasks in the development and maintenance of scenic and recreational areas; greets visitors and provides historical and botanical information concerning the site; and performs other related duties as assigned.

• Legal authorization to work:
  All persons must be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
• Experience:
  
  At least two years of work experience in groundskeeping, grounds maintenance, or related work utilizing a variety of hand tools and light motorized equipment; or unskilled or semi‑skilled work requiring the use of simple tools commonly found in the building or mechanical trades.
• Driver's license:
  Possession of a valid driver's license is required at the time of appointment.
• Special requirements:
  Ability to lift and carry items of various weights, with or without reasonable accommodation.
