The Facilities Engineer I is responsible for providing repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting support throughout the property to ensure a safe, functional, and exceptional experience for guests, owners, and team members. This role maintains and repairs building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, pumps, appliances, pools, water and sewage systems, and energy management systems. The position performs preventive maintenance, responds to service requests, conducts daily engineering rounds, and ensures compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.

Successful candidates will have hands-on maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service in a luxury hospitality environment.

Quickly handle guest calls and team member work orders

* Perform a variety of maintenance tasks:
Conduct repairs and maintenance across various areas, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry

* Conduct preventive maintenance inspections:
Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address preventive maintenance needs

* Document maintenance activities:
Record completed inspections and repairs and flag any issues requiring further attention
