Field/Service Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Canon USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver exceptional experiences and elevated efficiency in the routine maintenance of Canon-supported products, in accordance with Service and Parts Standards. Territory covers the Lehigh Valley (Allentown, PA) and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA.
Responsibilities- Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to your manager with the necessary documentation, ensuring accurate information and record keeping.
- Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate field, shop, and on-site maintenance.
- Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
- Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
- Maintain the performance of assigned machines.
- Contribute to achieving the branch/district metric targets by maintaining performance at a level that supports overall goals.
- Hold a High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Possess a basic understanding of internet environments and be able to successfully complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class.
- Ability to travel with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Must take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other customer-required clearances to enter customer premises.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
Salary: $19.00–$26.31 hourly. This role is eligible for a transportation allowance.
