BET Investments, Inc. develops, leases and manages shopping centers, apartments, student housing, office buildings and mixed-use projects throughout the United States. We are currently seeking a full-time maintenance technician for our two townhome communities totally 194 units located in Horsham, PA.

Under the direction of the Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician helps maintains the physical condition of the property in a clean and well-groomed manner in accordance with safety standards.

• Keeps property management office, landscaping, community amenities and common areas free of trash and debris. Keeps dumpster areas clean and well maintained.
• Assists in the preparation of make ready apartments.
• Assists with snow removal.
• Assists with completing the preventive maintenance program.
• Completes all necessary training as required for the position, including Fair Housing.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the property; due to on-call maintenance emergencies
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record and auto insurance are required. Vehicle required.
• Must be able to work on call, weekends and over-time hours as needed.
• Preference will be given to candidate with previous multifamily apartment maintenance experience.
• Experience with basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC required.
• Must have ability to operate property equipment, lawn equipment and various hand tools in order to complete a service request and maintain facility.
• Must be able to stand, bend, push/pull objects, lift/move/carry objects, climb ladders and walk on rooftops while performing work orders or inspecting the facility. Must be able to lift 25 lbs frequently. (50 lbs. occasionally).
• Must be able to work both inside and outside in all types of weather.
• Previous experience in Residential properties is required.
