Facility Engineer - Part Time; Swing Shift

Facility Engineer I (RESORT ONLY)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventative maintenance and other assignments throughout the facilities and grounds.
• Maintain a friendly and professional image at the Hotel/Casino.
• Support, promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
• Provide impeccable guest service to all guests.
• Maintain building by performing preventative maintenance and other related maintenance activities.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property including hotel rooms.
• Open, track, and close out work orders and PMs.
• Conduct data entry on work orders.
• Observe safety rules and maintain a safe environment.
• Notify the Director of Facilities concerning needs of major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, cooling, plumbing, and equipment.
• Follow established procedures and policies of the Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort.

• Minimum age 21 years.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years technical experience in specialty or general maintenance field required.
• Ability to perform the physical job duties of all Facilities team members.
• Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history as determined by Oaklawn Jockey Club.
• Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
