Welder, Offshore

An offshore contractor is hiring Offshore Welders based out of Houma, LA, for full-time offshore construction work. This role involves pipe and structural welding on offshore platforms, with responsibilities ranging from layout and assembly to weld inspection and hydrotesting. Ideal candidates will have recent offshore welding experience and be proficient in structural and pipe welding on carbon steel. Safety leadership and professionalism are emphasized throughout this position.

• Minimum 2 years of offshore welding experience
• Recent offshore experience within the past 4 years
• 2+ years of pipe and/or structural welding on carbon steel
• Ability to read and follow ISOs and blueprints
• Familiarity with emergency procedures and rope access
• Physical capability to climb, lift, swing via rope, and work at heights

• Experience in hydro-welds and structural layout
• 100% weld penetration proficiency
• Strong understanding of offshore fabrication, cutting, and fitting
• Ability to work independently and safely in offshore environments
