1st Class Carbon Steel Pipefitter

We are hiring experienced Pipe fitters to support the T-ATS (Towing, Salvage, and Rescue Ship) program, a U.S. Navy new construction project at a leading shipyard. This is a long-term opportunity supporting multiple vessels in production.

Pipe fitters will perform layout, fabrication, installation, testing, and repair of piping systems in a shipyard new construction environment.

• Minimum 2+ years of carbon pipe fitting experience
• Must be able to pass a hands-on pipefitter test
• Ability to bevel pipe using a grinder with a sanding disc
• Ability to cut and saddle pipe of the same size at a 90-degree angle
• Must be able to perform silver brazing of socket joint pipe in:
  • Horizontal position (flat and horizontal flow)
  • Vertical position (vertical up flow)
  • In accordance with ASME requirements
• Shipyard or new construction experience preferred
• Must be able to work in physically demanding conditions (heights, confined spaces, outdoor environment)
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance

• Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Overtime and weekends may be required

• $26–$28/hour (based on experience

• Onsite test required for consideration
