Field Assistant

We are looking for a Field Assistant to join our Cimsa Americas Team!

This position is located in Houston, Texas.

• Coordinate and complete daily duties such as preparing pallets, top hatches, filters for PD car operations, re-wrapping cement pallets, and industrial cleaning.
• Communicate with CCR operators to understand and operate machinery from the field.
• Coordinate with forklift operators for smooth dispatch operations involving box trucks and flatbed trucks.
• Manage silo truck operations in the field and communicate with the shipping office when necessary.
• Promote and maintain an environmentally compliant and safety-oriented plant following OSHA and company standards.
• Ensure adherence to plant rules and safety protocols during operations and maintenance to minimize injuries and incidents.
• Participate in weekly safety meetings and provide feedback on unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Awareness of working around moving equipment and machinery.
• Basic operational skills and aptitude.
• Effective communication skills, both giving and following directions.
• Strong time management, attendance, and punctuality.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
