The general labor worker is responsible for assisting with the routine maintenance, repair, and upkeep of buildings, grounds, equipment, and offices. During Showtime, this role will help support the set-up and tear-down of the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:- Assist with routine cleaning, maintenance, and repair tasks in and around facilities.
- Perform basic landscaping duties such as mowing pastures, trimming hedges, and weed eating.
- Help with janitorial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, emptying trash hoppers, and restocking supplies.
- Support the maintenance team with minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, and assembling furniture, painting.
- Assist skilled workers and various trades when asked.
- Carry tools, equipment, and supplies to and from work sites.
- Must be able to operate a forklift and have the desire to learn the operation of other equipment.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required.
- Works collaboratively as part of the team to assist others as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Occasional part-time personnel and contract labor.
Education and/or ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent; and possesses strong physical stamina, reliability, and basic tool/safety knowledge. No prior maintenance experience is required. Must have a current, valid Texas Driver’s License.
OtherSkills and Abilities
Ability to cross-train in all other areas of construction such as welding, carpentry and maintenance.

The employee may be required to lift and/or move 50 or more pounds. Extended work hours required, especially during peak periods.
