Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Job Description

Position Summary: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at a large, well-maintained multifamily community in Houston, Texas. The Housekeeper plays a key role in ensuring common areas, amenities, and vacant units are clean, sanitary, and welcoming for residents, guests, and prospective tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all common areas including leasing office, hallways, stairwells, elevators, laundry rooms, fitness center, and restrooms
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents by performing thorough cleaning and sanitization
• Remove trash and debris from property grounds and designated areas
• Restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Follow company safety procedures and cleaning standards
• Support property team with special cleaning projects as needed
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with residents and team members

Qualifications:

• Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, preferably in multifamily, hotel, or commercial settings
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time schedule: weekend availability may be required
