Openwork’s Houston branch is partnering with a respected HVAC manufacturer and supplier to hire a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician

As a key member of the operations team, you will help ensure the facility remains clean, functional, and production‑ready. Your contributions will directly support employee safety, operational efficiency, and overall workplace excellence.

• Maintain cleanliness and assist with overall facility upkeep.
• Perform routine maintenance on building systems.
• Complete general building repairs including drywall, painting, doors, and fixtures.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs.
• Maintain and service trash receptacles throughout the facility.
• Promote and support a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

• Previous experience as a Facilities Maintenance Technician preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Able to perform in a fast‑paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening.

• Full ankle‑support safety toe shoes (steel or composite).
• All other required PPE provided by the company.
