Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Utility Worker to perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitation duties within the facility. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in designated areas-including locker rooms, break rooms, and areas surrounding plant equipment-while adhering to all state health and safety regulations and Quality Management System policies.

Candidates must have strong knowledge of cleaning practices, the ability to be cross-trained in production areas, and excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, weekends on an as-needed basis, 6:30 AM
-5 PM

Responsibilities

• Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
• Sweep and maintain the cleanliness of plant floors.
• Clean pallets as assigned.
• Remove and dispose of trash.
• Maintain designated work areas inside and outside the facility.
• Complete assigned utility tasks and obtain required sign-offs.
• Shower at the end of each shift before leaving the facility.

Requirements

• Ability to wear a respirator for most of the shift.
• Strong task-prioritization skills.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as a utility worker.
• Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and proper cleaning techniques.
• Clean background
• Respirator & PPE
