Role Overview This role supports a modular containerized data center facility. The Multicraft Technician is responsible for maintaining day-to-day operations, including general facility maintenance, preventive maintenance rounds, and hands-on support across mechanical, electrical, and physical plant tasks. This is not a licensed-trade role; the technician will be the execution layer, taking direction from subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform facility walkdowns multiple times per day across mechanical systems, electrical systems, and IT containers.
* Monitor temperature, leaks, and any unusual noises or smells.
* Observe and respond to BAS readings and alerts.
* Execute light maintenance tasks as directed.
* Serve as an early warning system for potential equipment or system issues.

Required Qualifications
*
* Experience:

** A minimum of 3 years of hands-on general maintenance or multicraft experience in a commercial, industrial, or facilities environment.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with more than one trade discipline (e.g., mechanical and electrical, or HVAC support and general facilities).
* Demonstrated breadth of skills and the ability to follow technical direction.

Work Environment This position operates in an outdoor environment in central Alabama, which includes high heat and humidity during peak cooling season (April through September). The work involves tasks in and around high-density electrical and mechanical equipment under supervision, and may include working in confined and restricted spaces inside containers such as a Power Distribution Container, IT Container, Chiller Station Container, and Diesel Generator Container.
