Description
Primary Responsibilities and Key Deliverables:
Perform routine janitorial work in varying facilities types, and additional cleaning duties as needed.
Be familiar with a variety of the cleaning concepts, practices, and procedures. Must be on time and pleasant
Locations: Multiple
Shift: Morning and Evening
Responsibilities:
- Available for call-ins, flexible schedule, shift coverage day or evening.
- Must have dependable transportation.
- Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Gather and empty trash and transport to collection bins.
- Clean restroom areas, top to bottom, including men's, women's and unisex restrooms and restock paper and hand soap supplies.
- Clean café, break rooms or other areas as required.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to SDS specifications.
- Clean laboratory equipment, such as glassware and metal instruments, using solvents, brushes, rags, and power cleaning equipment.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
- Clear debris from exterior grounds, and building surroundings
- Notify managers concerning the need for repairs, i.e. leaking faucets, running toilets.
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
- Various other job duties as asked by supervisor.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday , Thursday, Friday - Work Hours : 6:30pm to 11:00pm = 4:30 hours
