Housekeeping Utility Worker

Starting at $14.25 / hr, commensurate with experience.

• Thursday
  - Monday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

• Maintain hard floor surfaces: scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, buffing and waxing
• Maintain carpeted surfaces: extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying and vacuuming
• Clean vertical surfaces such as doors, walls and windows
• Remove trash, including refuse and recycling, by following procedures that utilize compactors, trucks and carts
• Move and arrange furniture in community common spaces, offices and residential apartments
• Deliver residents items to and from storage, vehicles, apartments or other areas
• Operate housekeeping equipment and vehicles in a safe manner

• Current and valid driver’s license
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment and other equipment necessary for community cleanliness
• Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques preferred
• May require a CDL class B with air brake endorsement
• Must have a current and valid D.O.T. Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate
