Become an active member of the team. What you'll be doing as a Maintenance Technician
- Driving resident satisfaction by responding to and completing work orders timely in a quality manner.
- Driving property performance by performing any and all work that produces clean, safe, and attractive common areas, including pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking lots, etc.
- Coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to prioritize tasks throughout the day.
- Providing excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
- Maintaining property value by performing preventative maintenance throughout the property.
- Ensuring resident satisfaction by preparing vacant apartments for move‑in.
- Ensuring a safe work environment by identifying any safety hazards or maintenance needs and reporting or correcting them.
- Maintaining and repairing critical building and site systems.
- Using software applications to track work and personal performance.
- Being part of a team handling a variety of tasks in a constantly evolving environment.
- At least 1 year of general maintenance/general repair experience, preferably in the multifamily or related industry.
- EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification strongly preferred.
- Trade skills including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliance, etc.
- Trade licensing preferred but not required.
- Must have own hand tools.
- Must live within 30 minutes of the community.
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on‑call schedule.
- Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job such as lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO).

- Requires ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb stairs for completing office work, inspecting apartments, and conducting tours.
- Requires the ability to lift or carry up to 150 pounds, though over 150 pounds is a rare need (less than 5% of time).
- Between 75–150 pounds – occasional need (1–33% of time).
- Between 25–75 pounds – frequent need (33–66% of time).
- Less than 25 pounds – constant need (66–100% of time).
