Title:
Floor Technician – Operador de machinas de pisos.
- Knows and actively demonstrates, daily, our Company Mission Statement and Core Values
- Efficiently carries out all directives given by the Management Team (sense of urgency)
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
- Clean windows and mirrors
- Clean, disinfect, and supply restrooms
- Remove waste and empty trash
Route 2‑hour disinfecting and sterilizing of all facility areas - Maintain a cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleaned and inspected
- Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies
- Organize janitorial storage areas
- Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or the need for repairs or maintenance
- Handle basic maintenance building repairs and other janitorial work
- Practice teamwork and cooperation with coworkers
- Seek continual improvement of related skills and knowledge to contribute to profitability and productivity
- Undertake responsibilities with care and attention to detail
- Work in accordance with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHA
- Attendance and timeliness are required; this is not a job you can do from home
No supervisory responsibilities.
Schedule & Hours- Full Time: 40 hours per week; must be available for any shift on Friday or Saturday and at least 80% of all shifts each week.
- Part Time: up to 25 hours per week.
- Working outside of scheduled time without Store Manager approval is prohibited.
- Minimum 1–2 years of janitorial experience (high school diploma or GED preferred; experience may be considered).
- Must be over 21 years old.
- Read, comprehend, and write simple instructions or memos.
- Speak and communicate with coworkers and guests.
- Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals without a calculator.
- Physical strength: regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds, and use an industrial machine to move pallets of up to 2400 pounds.
- Vision: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Physical demands: standing, walking, bending, hand and finger use, reaching, climbing/balancing; hearing and talking.
- Reasoning ability: apply common‑sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions.
- Work environment: exposure to outside weather, moderate–loud noise levels.
Un técnico de pisos es responsable de limpiar, mantener y restaurar diferentes tipos de pisos en espacios comerciales o residenciales. Realiza tareas como barrer, trapear, pulir, encerar y abrillantar, utilizando equipos especializados para limpiar a fondo y proteger superficies como baldosas, alfombras y madera. También inspecciona daños, realiza reparaciones menores y sigue procedimientos de seguridad al usar productos químicos y maquinaria para mantener un ambiente limpio y seguro.
