Note:

This is an in‑person role; remote work is not available.

• Knows and actively demonstrates our Company Mission Statement and Core Values daily.
• Efficiently carries out all directives given by the Management Team with a sense of urgency.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Clean windows and mirrors.
• Clean, disinfect, and supply restrooms.
• Remove waste and empty trash.
• Routinely disinfect and sterilize all facilities every 2 hours.
• Maintain cleaning chart indicating areas cleaned and inspected.
• Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Organize janitorial storage areas.
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or needed repairs/maintenance.
• Handle basic building maintenance repairs and other janitorial work.
• Practice teamwork and cooperation with coworkers.
• Seek continual improvement of related skills and knowledge to contribute to profitability and productivity.
• Undertake responsibilities with care and attention to detail.
• Work in accord with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHA.
• Attendance and timeliness are required; this is an in‑person role.
• Supervisory responsibilities:
  
  None.

21 years or older.

• Preferred: 1–2 years of janitorial experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions or memos.
• Effective verbal communication with coworkers and guests.
• Basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; counting skills.
• Responsible, reliable, and committed to providing excellent service.
• Patience, friendliness, outgoing personality.
• Self‑starter with strong work ethic who completes tasks promptly and seeks next assignment.

• Full Time:
  Approximately 40 hours per week.
• Availability required for any shift on Friday or Saturday.
• Must be available 80% or more of all scheduled shifts each week.
• Part Time:
  Up to 25 hours per week.
• Working outside scheduled time without manager approval is prohibited.

Apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form; knowledge of weather conditions helpful.

• Standing, walking, bending, use of hands and fingers to handle or feel.
• Reaching with hands and arms; climbing or balancing as needed.
• Talking and hearing over moderate to loud noise.
• Regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs with proper tools.
• Use of industrial equipment to move pallets up to 2,400 lbs.
• Close and distance vision; depth perception; adjust focus.

Exposure to outside weather conditions while working in warehouses. Moderate to loud noise levels.
