Facilities & Operations Manager

Pay: $49,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year based on experience

Are you a hands-on facilities leader who enjoys solving problems, coordinating vendors, and keeping properties safe, organized, and running smoothly? Do you have experience managing buildings, vehicles, maintenance projects, and compliance requirements while balancing multiple priorities? If so, we'd like to hear from you.

We're seeking a Facilities & Operations Manager to oversee building operations, vehicle management, safety compliance, and vendor coordination across a residential behavioral health program serving young adults ages 18–28. This role is responsible for maintaining safe, functional, and compliant facilities while ensuring reliable transportation services for clients and staff. The ideal candidate has facilities or property management experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced residential setting.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, and daily operations of residential homes, apartments, and office locations.
  • Coordinate and manage contractors, vendors, and service providers for landscaping, housekeeping, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general facility maintenance.
  • Lead preventative maintenance efforts and ensure facilities remain clean, safe, functional, and well-maintained.
  • Manage the organization's vehicle fleet, including inspections, maintenance scheduling, fuel card administration, transportation logistics, and safety oversight.
  • Conduct routine facility, vehicle, and safety inspections and address maintenance concerns in a timely manner.
  • Ensure buildings are equipped with appropriate safety supplies, emergency equipment, signage, and operational resources.
  • Support emergency preparedness planning, life-safety initiatives, and accreditation readiness.
  • Track facility needs, equipment inventory, vendor performance, and capital improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, operational planning, and long-term facility improvements.
  • Build strong working relationships with property management teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Experience in facilities management, operations management, property management, maintenance management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices, building systems, vendor management, and workplace safety.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and move equipment and supplies as needed.
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain after hire.
