Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Supervisor. Some responsibilities of this position include being a leader in the areas of Safety, Reliability, Team Development, Cost Control, and Project Management. Additionally, the role requires the development and execution of reliability‑based maintenance programs to ensure optimum performance of equipment related to plant operations in multiple applications. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor;

therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• Demonstrated experience in team development and maintenance system management.
• Thorough understanding of industrial maintenance principles associated with steel plant processes.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Understanding of crane/industrial mobile equipment maintenance.
