Tool Room Attendant / Safety Coach

Apache Workforce is hiring a Tool Room Attendant / Safety Coach to support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for managing tool inventory, issuing equipment to employees, and supporting workplace safety initiatives.

The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a hands-on shop environment.

• Maintain accurate records of issued tools and monitor tool room inventory
• Receive and log new tools and equipment into inventory
• Schedule and track preventative maintenance for tools and equipment
• Maintain documentation for reporting and compliance purposes
• Assist in enforcing safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies
• Report safety and environmental concerns to the EHS Manager
• Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, and safety boards
• Support ongoing development of safety programs (PPE, fire prevention, emergency action plans)
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation
• Ability to mentor and guide employees on safety practices
• Strong communication skills (English – written and verbal required)
• Team-oriented with a proactive mindset

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Work performed in a non-climate-controlled shop environment
• Regular exposure to industrial conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
• Standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods
• Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day

• Normal vision required (no color blindness)

• Steel-toe boots and hard hat required
• Safety glasses required at all times
• Earplugs recommended
