Maintenance Coordinator

Provides support for the Maintenance department through planning, organizing and scheduling work for facilities and equipment while minimizing impacts on production. Monitor key performance indicators to advise changes in preventative and predictive maintenance decisions. Supports Maintenance and Facilities in scheduling maintenance tasks to include consideration of availability of parts, tools and production schedule. Uses analytical skills and critical thinking to improve departmental performance.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prioritizing tasks and allocating resources efficiently.
  • Coordinating preventative maintenance, repairs, and operational activities.
  • Monitoring deadlines, milestones and completion dates.
  • Accommodate changes for emergency work order needs.
  • Communicating timelines and expectations to supervisor/director.
  • Tracking progress and resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensuring Parts, materials, equipment and resources are available as needed.
  • Review and prioritize maintenance work orders.
  • Purchase maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies, equipment, tools, and spare parts.
  • Obtain quotes from vendors and compare pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
  • Create and process purchase orders.
  • Ensure purchases comply with company policies and budgets.
  • Expedite orders to meet urgent maintenance needs.
  • Track purchase orders from start to finish and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Verify received materials match purchase orders and quality standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by TAS Management.
Job

Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and without constant supervision
  • Good communication skills including good command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain professional and respectful relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to proactively plan assigned tasks to reduce equipment downtime
Education & Training:
  • High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Requirements:
  • 3+ years of maintenance coordination, facilities, or industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years in Maintenance scheduling and planning.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment, facility systems, and preventive maintenance programs.
Preferred Requirements:
  • 3 years of CMMS Knowledge and experience
  • Experience in high-paced industrial manufacturing environments.
Physical Requirements /Work Environment:

Position is at least 80% to 95% at a desk working with computer. Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive motions.

Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal, and conduct extensive reading. The incumbent will be subject to inside environmental conditions.
