Primary

Purpose:

Responsible for the appearance and cleanliness of assigned HCDE facility. Follow routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds.

Qualifications:

Special Knowledge/

Skills:

• Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment (buffer, stripper, wet & dry vacuum cleaner and carpet shampooer)
• Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
• Detail oriented

Experience:

• Two years related experience

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintain facilities in a clean and operable condition.
• Assist personnel in moving necessary supplies and equipment.
• Report all needed maintenance and follow through on repair work.
• Scrub and disinfect toilets and floors, and clean all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains daily.
• Keep all floors in a clean and attractive condition and in a good state of preservation.
• Maintain working inventory of supplies.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures for self and other employees.
• Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $29,760 to $36,288 Per Year
