Department Supervisor

• Coordinate the activities of Technicians, Welders, and Painters repairing customer refuse containers onsite and offsite
• Assign work orders to appropriate team members to meet customer commitments
• Provide leadership and guidance to ensure work matches customer or service-order requests
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance
• Communicate goals and expectations and provide timely feedback
• Interact with customers to provide status updates, obtain information, and maintain customer satisfaction
• Provide daily work-order progress updates to management
• Work with team members to resolve issues or request support
• Travel by vehicle to customer locations, either driving or as a passenger
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 3+ years’ experience as a supervisor
• Knowledge of commercial trash cans and roll-offs
• Experience leading teams
• Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions
• Able to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic components
• General mechanical abilities
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to ride in a vehicle for long periods of time

Demonstrates strong leadership and team management skills while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and performance monitoring. Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components related to refuse container repair.
