Job Description
Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Porter is responsible for supporting the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the campus, including office areas, warehouse buildings, and surrounding grounds. This role plays a key part in ensuring that all public and work spaces remain clean, safe, and presentable for employees and visitors. Duties include routine cleaning, light ground keeping, collaboration with the housekeeping team, and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns observed during daily tasks.
DutiesAnd Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and general upkeep of all campus areas, including office spaces, warehouse buildings, and surrounding grounds.
- Ensure public areas remain clean and free of trash, debris, and other hazards.
- Support routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal across designated facilities.
- Perform light ground keeping duties to maintain a tidy and safe outdoor environment.
- Provide assistance to the housekeeping team as needed, including special cleaning projects or coverage during absences.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues observed during cleaning duties to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while operating cleaning equipment and handling cleaning agents.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with staff and visitors.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Adhere to the daily schedule, completing all assigned duties and maintaining the upkeep of designated areas and equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

- Ability to work in various weather conditions and handle physical labor consistently.
