Job SummarySupervises and supports Workplace Services operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of facility, workplace, and employee support services across company locations. Provides day-to-day leadership for workplace services activities, including facility support, vendor coordination, space planning, office services, customer service, and operational readiness. Partners cross-functionally with business units, Facilities, Security, Safety, Supply Chain, IT, and other internal stakeholders to support a productive, safe, and professional workplace environment for employees, contractors, customers, and visitors
Essential Functions- Lead and supervise Workplace Services team activities to ensure high-quality service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction in a safe and cost-effective manner.
- Oversee daily workplace operations, including facility support requests, office services, conference room readiness, employee workspace needs, mail/copy services, supply management, vendor coordination, and general workplace support.
- Coordinates response to urgent workplace or facility-related issues, including service interruptions, building access concerns, safety-related matters, severe weather impacts, or other operational needs that may affect employees or business continuity.
- Partners with Facilities, Security, Safety, IT, Supply Chain, and business leaders to support workplace readiness, employee moves, space utilization, site needs, and operational improvements.
- Supports facility operations for critical infrastructure environments, including data centers, network operations centers, and other mission-critical facilities.
- Coordinates maintenance activities for critical facility systems, including UPS, backup generators, cooling systems, monitoring systems, and associated vendor support.
- Manage facility readiness to support up time, reliability, and business continuity requirements.
- Assists with planning and coordination of maintenance outages, infrastructure projects, and operational changes affecting critical facilities
- Manage day-to-day facilities operation within data center mission-critical environment.
- Supports proactive maintenance and operational practices that minimize downtime and service interruptions.
- Maintains awareness of safety, security, and access control requirements associated with critical infrastructure locations.
Requires a 2-year associate degree or a combination of education and experience which provides equivalent knowledge.
ExperienceRequires a minimum of (5) years of experience in Workplace Services, Facilities, Operations, Building Engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience supporting workplace, facilities, or office operations in a utility, energy, industrial, corporate, or multi-site environment.
- Experience supervising employees, contractors, vendors, or service partners.
- Working knowledge of facility service requests, space planning, vendor coordination, office support services, safety practices, and customer service standards.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, respond to urgent needs, and communicate effectively with employees and leaders at multiple levels.
- Knowledge of critical infrastructure systems, including electrical distribution, UPS systems, generators, HVAC/cooling systems, fire suppression systems, and building monitoring systems
- Knowledge of central plant operations, facility systems, maintenance coordination, and operational safety requirements
- Familiar with Tier II / Tier III data center concepts, uptime requirements, and operational resiliency practices.
