Maintenance Supervisor

American Communities is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and help keep our community safe, beautiful, and running smoothly. • Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance team.
• Oversee daily repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, and make-readies.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, drywall, pool, and exterior repairs.
• Coordinate vendors and manage maintenance supplies and inventory.
• Ensure excellent response times to resident service requests.
• Assist with budgets and control maintenance expenses.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and support other communities as needed.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• EPA Freon Certification (Type I & II or Universal) required.
• 4–6 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform physical maintenance duties and lift 25+ lbs.
