The Facility Cleaner is responsible for keeping CEIA’s office and other public areas neat and organized by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, dusting countertops, ceilings and furniture and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, or break areas.

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, and sponges.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Notify Facility Maintenance Manager of any issues found concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

• Ability to carry out detailed verbal or written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate.
• Self‑motivated and able to work without direct supervision.
• Regular bending, stooping, kneeling and walking for extended periods of time.

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent school diploma.
• 2 years of janitorial experience preferred but not required.
