Humble ISD General Maintenance - Maintenance on Demand
Reports to: General Crafts Supervisor
School/Department: Maintenance Department
Pay Grade:
Manual Trades/Hourly MT5 Wage/hour status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Days: 261
Created/revised: December 2023
Primary PurposeUnder general supervision: perform general maintenance and repair of building structures and assist with maintenance of grounds.
QualificationsEducation/Certification:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record.
- May be required to successfully complete job ability testing.
- Special Knowledge/
Skills:
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Knowledge of basic construction and routine maintenance and repair procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbally).
- Ability to operate hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge using computers or iPads.
- Experience:
- One year experience in general building maintenance.
