Job Details
Associate will be responsible for general building and equipment maintenance water operator, as well as handling snow removal during the winter months, general repair and maintenance of all forklifts, motorized pallet jacks, company vehicles and other equipment owned by the company. General building repairs such as plumbing needs, facility lighting, painting and assisting with general cleanliness of the facility and grounds, as well as moving office equipment will be required.
This associate is responsible for trash removal from the facility as well as the cleanliness and organization of the truck sheds, maintenance shops and bone yard. Some off-shift work will be scheduled. Other seasonal work and duties within the Maintenance Department may be assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
- The verifiable knowledge of hand and power tools will be required.
- Good mechanical ability with verifiable general knowledge of plumbing skills and general knowledge of electrical and lighting.
- The ability to operate a forklift, bobcat, shag truck, lull and all other company vehicles is required and hold a clean driving history.
- The physical ability to lift at least 40-50 lbs and stand throughout the majority of the shift is required as is the capability to work in all environmental conditions both inside and outside of the facility.
- Experienced Candidate must have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English and posses’ good written skills with computer skills a plus.
- Attention to detail work as well as the ability to work as a team member is essential.
- 6 month work history or participant of any industrial maintenance educational program. Maintenance experience preferred.
