Position Summary

The Floor Care Manager is a motivated and energetic leader who oversees all aspects of floor care

services across customer sites. This role ensures that hard floors and carpets are maintained to the

highest standards, while also supervising teams, coordinating schedules, and delivering exceptional

customer service. The Floor Care Manager blends leadership, technical knowledge, and organization

to keep facilities spotless, safe, and inspection-ready.

What You'll Do
  • Hands-On Leadership
    - Supervise and assist floor care crews, provide training, and create a supportive work environment.
  • Mentor & Coach
    - Develop team members' skills in floor maintenance techniques such as stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, carpet extraction, and specialty floor care.
  • Maintain Quality
    - Conduct inspections and ensure consistent delivery of floor care that meets company and customer standards.
  • Organize Operations
    - Manage floor care schedules, coordinate staff assignments, and handle supply and equipment needs.
  • Problem Solve
    - Anticipate challenges (equipment breakdowns, schedule changes, supply shortages), address issues proactively, and implement solutions.
  • Support Growth
    - Identify opportunities to expand floor care services and contribute to the company’s success and reputation.
  • Safety First
    - Ensure all floor care services follow safety, health, and sanitation guidelines, including proper chemical use and signage during work.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities management, with a focus on floor care strongly preferred.
  • Technical knowledge of floor care processes, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a positive, hands-on approach.
  • Ability to train, coach, and mentor the team in proper floor care techniques.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and schedules.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • A customer-first attitude.
