Department: Building Operations

Job Goal: To support the ESC mission and assist in the daily operations and maintenance of ESC facilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and break down tables, chairs, equipment, and supplies for meetings and events.
• Perform routine inspections of rooms, entrances, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Complete light cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
• Report safety hazards, damage, equipment problems, and repair needs.
• Receive, move, and distribute deliveries and supplies.
• Unlock and secure designated rooms and building areas.
• Assist employees, guests, vendors, and event participants as needed.
• Monitor inventory and restock commonly used supplies.
• Follow safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Complete basic activity logs, checklists, or incident reports.
• Perform other building operations duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in facilities, custodial services, maintenance, event support, or customer service is helpful but not required.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings or weekends.
• Valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs, and perform routine physical tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.

Position Type: Part-Time

• At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
