Job Summary:
We’re looking for a motivated Detailing Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality detailing services, maintaining shop standards, and ensuring every customer leaves impressed. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform interior and exterior detailing at a professional level.
- Wash, decontaminate, and prep vehicles for polishing or coatings.
- Conduct single-stage or multi-stage paint correction (based on skill level).
- Apply ceramic coatings, waxes, sealants, and dressings.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and organized shop environment.
- Follow established SOPs for services, paperwork, reports, and quality checks.
- Document before/after photos and videos for quality assurance.
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
- Respect and operate equipment properly (buffers, vacuums, extractors, etc.).
- Represent The Auto Spa with professionalism and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in auto detailing (6+ months preferred, but willing to train the right person).
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain consistency.
- Detail-oriented with pride in craftsmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods.
- Punctual, dependable, and positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with detailing & paint correcting.
- Experience applying ceramic coatings.
- Knowledge of premium detailing products and tools.
- Content creation skills (photo/video) for social media is a bonus.
- Customer service experience.
