POSITION SUMMARYThe Facility Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and operational aspects of the Hurst Aquatics Centers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Adheres to preventative maintenance schedule for aquatics equipment (pools, pumps, motors, slides)
- Operates motorized equipment such as tractors with attachments, top dressers, aerators, paint sprayers, and other related maintenance and landscape equipment.
- Conducts daily inspections of all pool mechanical systems and maintenance on all aquatics equipment
- Assists with aquatics equipment inventory management
- Responsible for daily cleaning and overall appearance of the grounds, restrooms, pools and deck areas, and public spaces
- Provides Excellent customer service to guests and members on a daily basis
- Completes other duties as assigned by leadership and/or General Manager
- 1-3 years' experience in maintenance and/or operations of pool systems
- Basic knowledge of landscaping, plant materials, irrigation & irrigation repair
- Experience in swimming events as a consumer, or other relevant experience
- Experience and success in delivering excellent customer service
- Action-oriented personality with a 'get it done' attitude and proficiency for efficiency
- Experience or general knowledge in general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing and/or aquatics maintenance
- Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
- Must be able to work under pressure and be decisive
- Ability to prioritize
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work in outside weather conditions
- The Team Member could be exposed to cleaning chemicals
