Equipment Associate - ROS

United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, invites a Portable Sanitation Equipment Associate to join its Reliable Onsite Services division. The role focuses on ensuring equipment is rent‑ready and meets quality standards, with opportunities for advancement into Driver and Service Technician programs.

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Perform routine checks on portable sanitation equipment to ensure safety and good working order, including inspecting, washing, repairing, and/or storing.
• Perform general facility maintenance and minor repairs.
• Load and unload units, manually or with forklift as required.
• Use drill, rivet tool and other hand tools as needed.
• Ensure supplies are onsite and organized.
• Accurately load trucks for the next day with all units cleaned and repaired to standards.
• Set up and maintain yard in a clean, organized manner.
• Maintain inventory spaces and communicate accurate counts to Dispatch.
• Conduct quality checks on all units and equipment, verifying rent‑ready status prior to loading.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping of shop, yard and facility.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• A valid driver's license.
• Attention to safety.
• General knowledge of yard equipment and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Industry experience is a plus; training provided.
• Superior customer service and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in all weather conditions.
