Custodian - Part-time Evenings

Overview

• Starting Pay of $14.65/hr
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 pm – 11:30 pm

• Vacuum carpets and floor mats using an industrial vacuum
• Sweep, mop and dust all areas of the building.
• Ensure that all trash is removed from the building and deposited into the receptacle.
• Clean all restrooms by sweeping & mopping floors, disinfecting the restrooms (i.e., wiping & washing urinals, toilets, sinks, stalls, walls, floors, mirrors, etc.) with disinfectant.
• Clean lunchroom by sweeping floors, disinfecting the lunchroom: by wiping & washing tables, chairs, counters, floors, walls, windows, etc.
• Clean windows inside of the facility.
• Clean offices including desks, chairs, carpet and chair mats.
• Clean lobby area including the mezzanine and observatory windows.
• Ensure that the building is “Tour Ready” condition at all times.
• Perform duties of position in the work area as needed or other tasks as assigned.

• Previous cleaning / custodial experience is preferred
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Walking, stretching, and lifting for the duration of the shift
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy
