Custodian - Part-time Evenings

Overview

• Provides custodial services to Melaleuca's Global Headquarters.
• Starting Pay of $14.65/hr
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 pm – 11:30 pm

• Vacuums carpeted floors and floor mats using an industrial vacuum.
• Sweeps, mops and dusts all areas of the building.
• Ensures that all trash is removed from the building and deposits it into the receptacle.
• Cleans all restrooms by sweeping & mopping floors, disinfecting the restrooms, (i.e., wiping & washing urinals, toilets, sinks, stalls, walls, floors, mirrors, etc.) with disinfectant.
• Cleans lunchroom by sweeping floors, disinfecting the lunchroom: by wiping & washing tables, chairs, counters, floors, walls, windows, etc.
• Cleans windows inside of the facility.
• Cleans offices including desks, chairs, carpet and chair mats.
• Cleans lobby area including the mezzanine and observatory windows.
• Ensures that the building is “Tour Ready” condition at all times.
• Performs duties of position in the work area as needed or other tasks as assigned.

• Previous cleaning / custodial experience is preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Walking, stretching, and lifting for the duration of the shift.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
