Farm Ops Technician (8hr Days) $20.40

The primary responsibility is toassistand support the Farm Manager in activities involving sample collection, record keeping, irrigating crops, sprayingweedsand other farm work.

Main Responsibilities

• Performs basic pivot maintenance.
• Changes the location where wastewater is being appliedandirrigates crops as needed.
• Assistsin permit sampling requirements as needed.
• Responds to odor complaints asrequiredin the permit.
• Mow/spray weeds around Idahoan farm operations and perform snow removal and ice mitigation for
  
  Idahoan facility parking lots.
• Operates harvesting equipment as neededandhauls equipment to the different plants.
• Mustmaintaincomplete andaccuraterecordsincluding the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) binder.
• Must know how tooperate, clean,maintain and trouble shoot the wastewater treatment plant.
• Must comply withall safety regulations, attend safetymeetingsand follow all company safety rules.
• Follows all good manufacturing practices as set up by the company policy.

  This position requires a high school diploma or a GED.

  Must have effective oral and written communication skills to communicate with supervisor and co-workers
• Requires a valid, current drivers’ license with a driving record which enables insurability.

  This position requires the ability to perform various physical activities such as heavy lifting(up to 50 lbs.)andworkingin adverse weather or temperature conditions. Must be able to work various shifts as assigned by Supervisor.
