The Thompson Creek Mine is a primary, surface molybdenum mine and mill located approximately 48 kilometres southwest of the town of Challis in Idaho's Custer County. In operations since 1983, the mine uses conventional open‑pit mining methods with large electric‑powered shovels that can each move up to 100,000 tons of waste rock and ore per day. Thompson Creek Mine promotes a drug and alcohol‑free workplace and has adopted a zero‑tolerance policy with respect to alcohol or unauthorized drugs on site.

We are looking for a Technician, Janitorial to join our Thompson Creek team. In this role, you will be responsible for routine and scheduled cleaning of company houses and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

• Cleaning rooms, including dust‑mopping, damp‑mopping, sweeping.
• Cleaning restrooms, including restocking dispenser, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning doors and walls, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning toilets and urinals.
• Using bleach and other disinfectants to disinfect and sanitize rooms, restrooms and frequently touched surfaces.
• Performing minor repairs, such as unclogging toilets and replacing light bulbs.
• Operating floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment, and maintaining cleaning equipment.
• Reporting any safety hazards or maintenance needs.
• Empties trashcans and replaces liners.
• Restocking rooms with clean linens.
• Setting up, stocking/restocking, and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Cleaning/washing of dirty linens – including towels, bedding, and kitchen towels.
• Ensuring the facility is safe and secure, including locking doors and windows and reporting safety hazards to management.
• Other duties as assigned.
