- Evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices.
- Make equipment recommendations and ensure units are maintained.
- Work in stores with Tool Rental Centers and repair centers.
- Provide service to store customers in Tool Rental, including writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs, checking that tools operate properly, and demonstrating proper use when needed.
- Support customer repair needs and manage day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of equipment in the tool rental department.
- Ensure units are repaired, tested for quality, and cleaned before returning to the originating store.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all tools and effectively manage the tool inventory by maintaining and repairing them as necessary.
