Position: Fixed Plant Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Mullan

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and supervise fixed maintenance operations on-site in Mullan, Idaho
  • Oversee preventive maintenance, scheduled repairs, and emergency repairs of fixed equipment assets
  • Assist the Fixed Maintenance Foreman and assume Foreman responsibilities when needed
  • Direct daily work activities of maintenance mechanics and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance standards
  • Coordinate maintenance planning and scheduling with operations and planning teams
  • Support emergency maintenance activities for hoists, compressors, chillers, pumping systems, and underground fixed plant infrastructure
  • Assign work orders and monitor performance to ensure quality, productivity, and safety expectations are met
  • Participate in risk assessments and support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Inspect work in progress and completed projects to ensure quality and reliability
  • Manage CMMS documentation, shift reports, timecards, and material requests
  • Train, coach, and develop maintenance personnel
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on maintenance efficiency and equipment reliability
What You Need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree from a vocational or technical school preferred
  • 3 to 5+ years of maintenance experience
  • Experience working in an underground mining environment
  • Strong understanding of underground hard rock mining operations
  • Knowledge of fixed plant maintenance, preventive maintenance programs, and equipment reliability practices
  • Experience with hoists, compressors, chillers, pumping systems, and underground infrastructure preferred
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
  • Experience coordinating maintenance planning and scheduling activities
  • Proficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead teams effectively
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement
