Pavilion Public Area Attendant
The Pavilion Public Area Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, appearance, and overall guest experience at our world-class concert venue. As a member of one of our most dynamic teams, this position is responsible for ensuring all public spaces remain clean, safe, welcoming, and visually appealing throughout events and daily operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned public areas throughout the venue, ensuring a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- Empty and properly dispose of trash and recycling from all designated public spaces.
- Clean, sanitize, and restock public restrooms, ensuring they remain safe, functional, and presentable for guests and staff.
- Clean and polish mirrors, glass surfaces, and interior windows.
- Dust, wipe, and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, furniture, and other public area amenities.
- Maintain the appearance of brass and metal fixtures by polishing and keeping them free of tarnish.
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties as assigned.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department.
- Follow all departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and workplace regulations.
- Support venue operations by assisting with additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Previous custodial, housekeeping, janitorial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and professional environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced event setting.
- Excellent reliability, punctuality, and work ethic.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and comply with established procedures.
- Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
