Building Maintenance, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Cabin & Lodge Maintenance Technician to help maintain and improve our cabins, lodges, and guest facilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and taking pride in keeping properties safe, comfortable, and welcoming for guests.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for routine upkeep, repairs, and improvements to buildings, grounds, and equipment. This role requires someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a mountain environment.
ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on cabins, lodges, and guest facilities
Inspect buildings and identify maintenance needs before issues arise
Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
Repair doors, windows, fixtures, appliances, furniture, and other property items
Maintain heating systems, fireplaces, water systems, and seasonal equipment
Perform painting, staining, drywall repair, and general construction tasks
Assist with cabin turnovers and preparing units for guests
Maintain clean, safe, and attractive grounds around cabins and facilities
Remove snow and assist with winter property maintenance
Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas
Coordinate with management on larger repairs and improvement projects
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Help ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable experience
Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repairs
Experience with tools and hands-on projects preferred
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
Comfortable performing physical work in all weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license preferred
Experience in construction, property maintenance, hospitality, or equipment repair is a plus
