Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $150,000–$180,000 base salary, plus up to 35% annual bonus based on performance
Reporting Structure: Reports to Corporate Controller
Team: Small, collaborative corporate finance group
About the Opportunity
A confidential, high-growth organization is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to lead and enhance the corporate accounting function. This is a newly created role for a senior accounting professional who enjoys both hands-on leadership and process improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with operating company teams, support external reporting, and drive best practices across a decentralized environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the monthly and quarterly close process for the corporate ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and deliverables
- Oversee corporate cost allocations, payroll, and accounts payable functions
- Evaluate and streamline accounting processes and reporting across the organization
- Administer expense reporting tools and track corporate expenses
- Manage global lease accounting and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Partner with financial planning teams to review capital projects and ensure accurate capitalization
- Support operating teams with accounting challenges and promote accountability and quality
- Review divisional financials for compliance and accuracy
- Assist with external reporting and filings, including support for audits and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other corporate functions such as FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Legal
- Complete ad hoc projects and provide support to executive management as needed
- Travel occasionally to operating locations to support teams and initiatives
What You Bring
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including divisional or multi-entity leadership in a public company environment
- Strong background in manufacturing, distribution, or related industries
- Experience leading accounting teams and driving process improvements
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Nice to have: CPA, corporate accounting experience, public accounting foundation, experience with percent complete accounting
- Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 120 hours a year and 8 Paid Holidays. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
